Inspired by the humble running stitch - a simple thread used to hold things together - Running Stitch explores the patterns that shape who we are.
 
At the heart of the deck are twelve archetypal court cards, each representing a familiar aspect of human nature: the creator, the caregiver, the skeptic, the performer, the dreamer. But like people, none of them are fixed. Turn the card upside down and its shade side emerges - the creator becomes the destroyer, confidence becomes ego, devotion becomes martyrdom.
 
Every court card hold both light and shadow within the same design.
 
Rendered in hand-drawn folk art style inspired by cross-stitch and traditional textile patterns, Running Stitch blends psychology, symbolism, and play into a fully functional 52-card deck.
